The Olympics are in full swing and along with that comes immense inspiration from watching world class athletes perform. In a single moment, you can see years of hard work, passion, and dedication pay off. Even better, there are some phenomenal athletes in the 2016 games who credit their fully plant-based diet with allowing them to accomplish more, perform better, and stay more focused. This is pretty exciting and another example of how giving a f*ck about what you put into your body can have so many more positive effects on your life than just on physical health.
If the Rio games have inspired you to challenge yourself physically (whether that's lifting heavier weights at the gym, trying out a new sport, or running just one mile further), you're going to want to refuel tired muscles after your workout. That's where this ridiculously delicious post-workout recovery smoothie comes in. It's a good mix of healthy carbs and protein to start restoring glycogen for your muscles post-workout. It's also easily digestible, minimally processed, and will help to replenish your water supply.

- Add all ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth.
Now get out there, give it your all, and kick some ass!
